Description

When your diet is built around big, carbohydrate-rich meals, you want your supplement stack to keep up. Engineered Glycotank is a multi-ingredient capsule made for bodybuilders, designed to be taken with meals during growth phases, heavy training blocks and any period of higher food intake.

Each capsule combines seven ingredients in one formula:

  • GlucoVantage® dihydroberberine (75mg): a branded form of dihydroberberine.
  • R-alpha lipoic acid (150mg): the R-isomer of alpha lipoic acid.
  • Cinnamon bark extract (187.5mg): standardised to 8% cinnamaldehyde.
  • Pterostilbene (37.5mg): a polyphenol structurally related to resveratrol.
  • Banaba leaf extract (10mg): standardised to 1% corosolic acid.
  • AstraGin® (10mg): a patented blend of astragalus and Panax notoginseng extracts.
  • Chromium (100mcg, as chromium picolinate): chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and to normal macronutrient metabolism.

It's one capsule per serving, with 120 servings per tub, so a single pot covers a long run of meals.

It's made for bodybuilders who eat structured, carbohydrate-rich meals, for example during a bulk, a growth phase or a demanding training block. It's for adults only.

How do I take it?
Take 1 capsule with a meal, up to 3 times a day. Don't take more than 3 capsules in 24 hours.

What does the chromium do?
Chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and to normal macronutrient metabolism. These claims apply to chromium specifically, not to the other ingredients.

Can I take it with medication?
Not without checking first. The manufacturer says not to use this product if you are being treated with prescription medicines, including blood thinners. If you take any medication, speak to your GP or pharmacist before use.

Is it safe for everyone?
No. It is not suitable for under-18s or for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use and speak to a healthcare professional if you experience any adverse effects. Food supplements should not replace a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.

Does it contain allergens?
The ingredients list on the label doesn't flag any allergens, but it's made in a facility that handles milk, egg, soya, nuts, wheat and gluten.
