Other forms — worth the premium, or not?

  • Creatine HCL — more soluble in water, often dosed lower (1–2g vs 3–5g for monohydrate) due to being more concentrated. Marketed as gentler on the stomach, but independent research comparing it head-to-head with monohydrate hasn't shown superior strength or muscle gains.
